Our cocoa leaves come from controlled cultivation by private small farmers in South America and are of course completely pesticide-free. They are the ideal covering layer in every rainforest terrarium and are used by many invertebrates in nature for protection and foraging. With real cocoa leaves you create a realistic picture of the rainforest in the terrarium. In addition, the leaves release tannic and humic acids and therefore offer the animals protection against bacteria and fungi.
